Our Family Pictures

Everything went wrong for our photoshoot! It’s Life. But we captured the memory anyway and I’m glad we did. It was worth it.

We were on vacation at the beach. I wanted family pictures badly and searched for months to find a photographer. I found a few that captured other families but didn’t see people like me in their work and questioned whether they could capture us. So, I decided to do it myself. #BIGMISTAKE

We chilled all day and we almost ran out of daylight. These High Iso pics with all the noise (techy stuff) are proof.

Shooting with a tripod and an interval timer takes a lot of trial an error and I didn’t have time to set up the off camera flash.

Needless to say, I was STEAMING mad in every single one of these images. Don’t let the smile fool you, I faked it because I needed to.

I didn’t have the experience I wanted and I don’t have the images I’d imagined.

I’m ok with the pictures. But next vacation, I’m hiring someone capable to capture us. Hell, I may even wear the same dress. I’m sure none of this will matter in 10, 20, 30 years. You shouldn’t care either. You should make it a priority to #GetGoodPics WITH your family.
