Confession – I love this time of year but I don’t love Christmas.

What I really love are late mornings, big fancy breakfasts, pajamas all day, cozy blankets and uninterrupted days that feel like a really long weekend with my family. Gifts are nice but not even necessary because we have each other - all day, for days on end.

It’s also the reason why I love family photos. The photos are never the focus; capturing the bond, and the joy, and the deep down happiness of being together is why holiday photos matter most.

As you get in the holiday mood, be sure to love on the people that have your heart. Focus on making memories, having beautiful experiences and just pausing to show love, uninterrupted love.

Do it all year round.
