Congratulations to all the Newly Engaged Couples.

Wedding season is upon us.  Your loved one got down on one knee, presented a ring and you said YES - now what!

There are tons of things to do to start planning.  Your first decision is to pick a date. This is the most crucial part of planning your wedding and it should happen sooner rather than later.  Many venues book events up to one year in advance. A popular venue could very well be booked for the date you’re looking for.

While selecting a date, consider the day of the week. Saturdays tend to be prime real estate during peak wedding season. If you are willing to be flexible with your date, then maybe you might want to consider doing a Friday or Sunday Wedding, some venues offer discounts on these days of the week. This could end up saving you thousands of dollars on your venue rental.

When planning your wedding, start with the most important part of the process - Choose a Date.
