Life is about beating the odds. Sometimes beating the odds is simply about staying alive. Sometimes its about fighting an invisible demon that is trying to kill you, from the inside. Sometimes, it’s about fighting Pancreatic Cancer, and winning. 

Alyson is already a survivor. She’s in the winter of her life but spring is coming. The flowers will bloom. The frigid terseness of freezing weather will make way for tulips, daisies and 80 degree warmth. Alyson is healing and has a story that couldn’t be scripted. 

These photos will remind her that there is beauty, even in winter.
