How To Be Successful

It’s the best kept secret or it’s not a secret at all. 

How to be successfull….Be You. Shine brightly. Don’t be afraid to let other’s see your shine. Stop wondering ‘what if’ and just do it. You’ll fail. But ‘failure’ is only defined by someone else’s standard. Failing actually means that you’re closer to refining your process…and refining your process is part of the growth necessary to becoming great. 

2017 has already started. We’re on day 2. My mission this year is to prove to you that you’re worth it! You’re brilliant, talented and incredible. The world needs your kind of shine. Your goal (and mine) is to get better at everything. Yes, I’ll fail sometimes, but I’m just one step closer to the mission God has created for me. 

I’ll be the first to admit that I second guess myself more than is humanly sensible for my mental health. I selectively curate the parts of me that I want to share which means that there are entire aspects of my life that are largely unknown, even parts that I’m pretty good at, even things that are worth sharing, things that could bless and minister to others. Like writing this blog post, for example. I may not even share this publicly even though I want to but….. The struggle to shine or not to shine is real. 

My theme for this year is found in the Bible. 

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matt 5:16
