In honor of #ThrowBackThursday I’m re-publishing my first destination wedding. This one is personal. I’ve grown as a photographer but that doesn’t change how deeply I feel about these two people and how much I felt privileged to tell their wedding day story.

On July 4, 2011, my friends got married. Never in a million years did I see this moment coming. I grew up with these two. They are an integral part of my adolescence. But seeing them together is beautifully unimaginable. They are each other’s complement in an unspoken, quiet understated kind of way. It was wonderful to see (and experience) and capture. 

So, to my friends, Monique and Hugh, I love you both. May God bless your marriage. *cheers*
